The main points
- The cheapest AC charging among the larger cities is Kaunas (€0.24/kWh), the dearest Druskininkai (€0.30/kWh).
- Over the month there were 144 price-per-kWh changes, across 36 tariffs.
Prices by charging network
The median of a network’s stations’ monthly prices, €/kWh incl. VAT. The change is against the previous month. The figure in brackets is the number of stations.

Networks that moved prices most
The largest percentage moves in a network’s median, where the class has at least 3 of that network’s stations.
This is the index’s first month — there is nothing to compare with.
Price-per-kWh changes recorded over the month: 144 (across 36 tariffs).
Methodology
- A month covers every day of that month for which we have price data. It becomes final only once the month has ended; until then the index is preliminary and updated daily.
- Calculated over stations, not over tariffs: each station’s daily average price (€/kWh incl. VAT) becomes that station’s monthly price (the mean of its days), and the national, network or city figure is the median of those prices. A median is insensitive to a handful of outlying tariffs.
- Classes: AC, DC (under 150 kW) and HPC (150 kW and above) are calculated separately. History does not separate DC from HPC, so a station’s DC price is filed under HPC when its most powerful DC connector is currently 150 kW or more. This is an approximation: a station with both 50 kW and 300 kW connectors counts entirely as HPC.
- Only cities where the class’s price is known for at least 10 stations take part in the comparison.
- A price change is a tariff-day whose price per kWh differed from that tariff’s previous recorded day.
- Prices exclude time, parking and session fees and subscription discounts. The data is the tariffs operators publish in the Via Lietuva National Access Point.
- History has been recorded since 2026-07-25; July 2026 and August 2026 are marked partial.
- When we correct a station’s price data during a month, it counts only from the day of the correction, and neither its network nor the national figures are compared with the previous month.
